Additional Milwaukee 6310-20 18-Volt 6-1/2-Inch Ni-Cad Cordless Circular Saw (Tool Only, No Battery) Information

The 6310-20 Milwaukee 18-volt cordless circular saw operates on a 2.4 amp hour nickel-cadmium battery providing the most 2 x 4 cuts per battery charge in the industry. On a single charge, the Milwaukee cordless circular saw can cut up to 145 2 x 4's or 106-feet of 5/8-inch OSB material. Milwaukee uses only no memory effect batteries, always providing the user with full battery capacity. This 6-1/2-inch saw includes an electric brake which stops the blade in seconds. The cordless circular saw can bevel up to 50-degrees for cutting extreme angles. The saw features all-metal upper and lower guards and a rigid aluminum shoe for rigorous job site use. A soft grip handle results in a more comfortable gripping surface. Batteries are interchangeable with other Milwaukee 18-volt tools adding versatility.

What Customers Say About Milwaukee 6310-20 18-Volt 6-1/2-Inch Ni-Cad Cordless Circular Saw (Tool Only, No Battery):

This is a great tool. I don't know what else to say, it is a tough saw, it doesn't look very special but it sure does work good. The Milwaukee is the first saw I reach for when cutting O.S.B, plywood or 2x or smaller lumber.

It cuts like it has eyes. The stamped aluminum shoe isn't going to break if you drop it. It is quiet, very smooth running and well balanced.

The lack of any vibration and the great sight line make it easy to make very precise cuts on a variety of materials. I have a lot of cordless circular saws DeWalt, (2) Milwaukee (1) Craftsman (2) Black & Decker (1) Ryobi (1) Makita (1) Denali (1) and probably a couple I have forgot about. They range in blade size from around 4" to the 36 volt DeWalt 7 ΒΌ inch.

It will bend and you can straighten it out unlike a cast aluminum shoe as used on some other saws. And it is one of the quietest circular saws I own.

Product came quickly and was a very good value for the money. Milwaukee makes a good tool.

What a novelty these days - good luck finding a cordless drill made here. I've never had a cordless do this.

The shoe is thick aluminum, very durable. I have had this over a month now and couldn't be happier with it.

Had to make a few 2x4s out of a 2x12 and this thing ripped the 2x lengthwise without a problem, several times before needing a charge. The saw cuts very well, is easy to control one handed and has easily accessible tilt and depth adjustments.

I am using with Li-Ion batteries and cut time is impressive. And the most pleasant surprise of all was ITS MADE IN THE USA.

Overall the perfect cordless saw: good balance, sturdy, easily adjustment, controllable, not too heavy, plenty of power - what more could you want.Only down side is rip fence not included (but available separately).

This replaced a similar DeWalt Product. Despite being very inexpensive I feel it is a stronger better built tool.Simple, straightforward and easy to use like any of these saws are. While i have no objective way to measure, I think I get many more cuts out of a single charge than the 18V Dewalt.I reach for this tool much more than I did the DeWalt. When I had the DeWalt I would often use a corded tool, now i tend to use this.

By all means use a thin kerf blade like comes with the saw when you get a replacement blade.Milwaukee makes several different 18 volt Li-Ion battery packs. At the sub $50 bargain price I got this for it is a great deal and a very handy saw. Do not expect it to replace a monster corded worm drive saw, but for smaller jobs where setting up extension cords would be a pain in the neck this is just the ticket. This works with the full sized V18 packs, but not their small compact cousins nor with the new M18 system Milwaukee has recently brought out. I suspect that the reason many V18 compatible tools are available at a deep discount is that Milwaukee is changing its battery pack form factor.Personally I'm thrilled to have this one at a bargain price.
